VideoPower YELLOW also comes with an excellent library that enabled you to organize your music files effectively. It’s a multi-faceted software that not only helps in recording songs, it also helps you to convert any audio from format to another. It comes with an in-built audio converter utility that helps you to convert audio files to have it ready to be played in any portable devices, smartphones, and tablets, etc. You can even join several audio clips to create your own customized audio file. Not only audios, you can even convert online video files, as it supports all popular formats including MP3, AAC, FLAC, M4A, WAV, and many more.
One more important aspect of the tool is that you don’t need to edit the information of the song, as the tool automatically recognizes the metadata information stored in the audio file and provides you all the information including the song title, album name, genre and the artists involved in the song, etc. Even the cover used in the CD is recognized, which is a great thing for music enthusiasts. Not only it recognizes the information of a particular song, but it is also able to recognize the data present in a bunch of files at a time to save you a lot of money and time.

Settings – You can change settings as soon as you launch it by clicking the “Settings” icon, opening up the settings options, including General Settings, Recording Settings, and Download Settings. The settings panel helps you in a great deal by allowing you to customize all kinds of things in the Music Recorder including the general options, recording options and downloading options. In the general settings panel, you can customize all the keyboard shortcuts and also check for the latest updates, etc. In the recorder settings panel, you can choose the source from which the audio needs to be recorded, whether from the system sound or from the microphone. It also allows you to choose the output format along with advanced options like skipping any silent periods in the audio or set a time to split the audio into separate files, in case the recording is too long. The download option settings allows you to choose the output folder where the recorded files need to be stored into.

Record Settings
There are several options under Record Settings:
Audio Source – You can record audio directly from the system’s sound (the computer), from a microphone, or from both at the same time. Choosing “System Sound” records the audio from your computer while choosing “Microphone” allows you to record your voice or vocals through your microphone. Choosing both records both the audio from your computer and microphone simultaneously.
Identify ID3 Tags – This setting allows you to quickly get all the information on a song, including the name of the song, artist, genre, and album cover art.
Set Output Format and Save Folder: You have the option of recording in a range of formats, including MP3, AAC, FLAC, OGG, WMA, WAV, and so on. You also have the option of choosing the output directory (where the recorded file will be saved) if you are not happy with the default choice.
Advanced Settings for Recording: There are additional recording settings that you can use to make it easier to control the recording process. For example, you can choose to automatically skip silences in the recording and set a time for the program to split the recording into different files automatically.

Download Settings – Download Settings allows you to change the save location of downloaded songs and adjust the maximum number of simultaneous downloads.

Record – allows you to record sounds from your computer. All you have to do is play the song and press the big red “Record” button to get started. End the recording by pressing the button again, and the finished file will show up in the interface. Information about the music is automatically added to tracks as they record, which can be set in “Recording Settings”.

Schedule Audio Recording – In addition to manually recording audio, you can set a schedule for automatic audio recording.
Choose “Schedule Task” from the “Tools” menu
Give the task a name and input the time and duration of recording
Click “Create” and the task should appear in the list
Click “OK” to complete the task creation process
Note: Information on automated task is found on the bottom of the interface. The audio recorder will begin automatically recording audio at the designated time.

Library – can be used to organize all the downloaded songs in terms of singer, albums or even based on the year recorded etc. the library also allows you to organize files based on their formats along with the type of the files.
Play – Listen to the file through the built-in music player.
Edit – Edit your song by cutting, copying, inserting, or mixing sound files, and save your edited file in a different format, location, or quality.
Convert: – Convert a selection of files into different formats at the same time, and merging several audio files into a single file.
Add to iTunes – Convert and transfer the files directly to your iTunes library
Identify – Detailed information about your chosen song, including the name of the song, artist, album, and more.
Rename – Rename a file after recording it.
Remove – Remove the chosen file from the chosen list.
Delete – Delete a file from the computer.
Open Folder – Open the folder the file is saved on your computer.
Select All – Choose every file in your Recordings List.

Search and Download Music – Open the “Search” interface and enter your keywords. Click “Search” to find the music you are after. You can then play or download the songs directly through the interface. Bulk download by ticking the songs you want and choosing “Add to download”. Open the “Download” interface to how your downloads are progressing.

Radio – Open up the “Radio” interface to find a list of genres listed. Choose the one you are interested in to see a list of radio stations in that genre. Choose a station and click “Play” to listen to it. You can record from the station as it plays and add it to “My Favorites” to make it easier to find next time. Additionally, you can find a specific radio station by searching for it through the “Search” tab. Type the keywords into the search bar, choose a country and language, and click “Search” to get started.

Audio Edit
Open the audio editor by opening the “Tools” menu and choosing “Audio Editor”.
Click the “Upload” icon to open a local folder and choose an audio file, which will then be shown as a waveform

Edit – Choose a part of the audio to begin editing.
Click and hold on the beginning of the section you want to edit
Drag the mouse to the end of the editing region and let go of the mouse button
Your chosen piece of audio should be highlighted

Note: The bottom of the interface also displays the length of the selected audio.

Trim Audio
Cut – Choosing “Cut” removes the chosen part of the audio but saves a copy of it to the clipboard, letting you can paste it elsewhere. This tool is great for moving pieces of audio around.
Copy – Copying creates copies of the audio that can be pasted wherever you want without deleting the original section it in the process. This choice is great when duplicating a piece of music or inserting it into another piece of audio.

Export Audio
Choose an output format from the list of formats
Use the “Output” option to change the output folder
Choose whether to export a selection of audio from the file or the whole file
Change the audio quality if desired
Change the ID3 tag information if desired
Click “OK” to save the edited file to your computer

Convert Video to MP3
Click “Video to MP3” in the “Tools” menu to open up a new interface. Copy the video’s URL, paste it into the box, and click “Add to Download”. Right-click the download and click “Pause” to pause the download. Resume the download by right-clicking the file and choosing “Start”. After the download has completed, right-click the finished file to add it to a playlist, remove it, delete it, and more. Find the file on your hard drive by clicking “Open Folder”.
