Product Review of VideoPower YELLOW by Michael

VideoPower YELLOW is a practical intuitive software that allows you to record the best audio from computers and microphones. There are also advanced features to it such as audio file conversion, search, library, and download.
First, you need to download and install the product and Take Note that if the product is not registered, there is always a trial version restriction.
After starting VideoPower YELLOW, you can check and make some settings before recording some audio. Click the Settings icon and select Settings from the menu.
The “Settings” screen has three tabs namely:

1.General Settings – lets you control how your application is displayed. Here you can set hotkeys according to your preference. You can also check the latest version and confirmation on closing.

2.Recording Settings- this is where the important settings related to recording is found.

also has Advanced Option settings provided in the “Recording settings” tag. Use this option for a better recording experience.

● after the recording is complete, ID3 tags or metadata container used to store information about an MP3 file within the audio file itself are automatically identified

● Selecting sound source
You can either choose to record audio from System Sound, Microphone, or Both System Sound and Microphone.

System sound – You can record the sound coming from your PC in numerous ways. You don’t have to hold a microphone to your computer’s speakers to record its audio or even Stereo Mix option on your PC, you can just easily record the sound coming from any Windows PC.

Microphone – a convenient and simple tool that can be used to record only the sound of the microphone.

System Sound & Microphone – Windows won’t easily let you record the sounds you hear on the PC such as Skype or Line calls, game audio or music, but unfortunately Video Power Yellow has the solution right away, by selecting this sound source the sound from the computer and microphone is recorded synchronously.

●determining where to save output format and output destination
Before you start recording, you can set first the main format such as MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA, WAV, FLAC as the extension of the output audio data.

If you do not wish to save the recording in the default folder (C:\Users\user\Music\VideoPower\VideoPower Yellow\Download\), you can set the output destination wherever you like.

3.Download settings – here you can customize whether you like the music to play after downloading it, how many number of files that can be downloaded simultaneously, the format to download music file, the quality, and the output destination of the downloaded music file.
This displays the Download Settings dialog, which allows you to exercise more control over what is actually retrieve by the VideoPower Yellow.

Recording – With VideoPower YELLOW, you can record any sound that flows from your computer.
Set the recording source and volume.
Select “System Sound” if you want to record music to be played on your computer.
Set the recording format for the recorded audio. You can save to MP3, AAC, FLAC, etc. formats.
Click the recording button and play the music you want to record or start the sound you want to record.
When recording is complete, click the stop recording button.
The recorded file is displayed above the record button.

For music, the song title/thumbnail image/album/artist can be identified automatically. You can right-click the file and delete the file or open the file destination.
Recording Schedule Task Settings – VideoPower YELLOW has a built-in scheduler to schedule a recording, the playback of local audio and video files, and capture streaming audio or video. Even if you are not in front of the computer, you can create a recording task and record it automatically at the scheduled time. As you gain more experience with VideoPower YELLOW, you will find other great options in the scheduler to help you conveniently produce recordings of the desired quality.

Click “Reservation Task” at the bottom left of the recording tab screen.
Enter the task name and set the recording start time and duration.
Click the “Create” button.
The created task is displayed in the task list. You can delete or stop a task by right-clicking the task name.
Click “OK” to save the above settings and close the scheduled task screen.

Library
To see all the recorded files click the “library” tab.
Right click the file name to view the menu of the screen or you can also click the desired button in the lower part of your screen to use the following functions:
Play the music with the built-in player.

Add to playlist at the top of the screen to be played on the air by Video Power Yellow.
Open the “Search” tab, and then search the specified file name, and download.

Click edit to open the “Audio Waveform Editing Tool”. You can edit unnecessary parts, extract necessary parts, adjust volume, etc.
Click convert to open the “Voice Conversion Tool”. You can load multiple files and convert them to various formats simultaneously. You can also merge multiple files into one file.
Click add to iTunes Opens “Transfer Music to iTunes”. You can convert multiple files to MP3 that can be transferred to iTunes library and transfer them at once. You need to install iTunes first.
Click ID3 to view information (song name, artist, album, thumbnail image, etc.) of recorded music can be recognized automatically.
Click Burn to CD to open the “CD writer tool”. Add video and audio to create music CDs.
You can rename after recording, the library file list and the file name in the save destination are changed.
You can delete the selected music from the library file list. Also after the deletion, the selected song from the library file list is automatically saved on its destination.
Opens the folder where the recorded file is saved.
You can select all files in the current playlist.

Music search and download
It features inbuilt music search and accepts YouTube links as well. Enter the name of the song or the artist you want to download and click the search button. You use the search bar to find music inside the program or you copy the URL of a music video and paste it into the software.

Radio
Although the use of AM/FM radios has significantly decreased, Radio can still give you comfort when you want to spend your day just sitting around drinking coffee or doing work out, cleaning, etc. This product has various built-in music radio station. You can record music while playing the radio. When you switch to “Radio”, a list of genres is displayed. Click on the genre you are interested to see the radio stations.

Converting voice
You can use this tool to convert video and audio to audio formats such as MP3, FLAC, M4A.
Click “+ Add” to capture the video or audio you want to convert.
Select the file to be converted.
Set the output format, quality, and save destination.
Click “Start” to start conversion.

Audio Editing Tools
You can use this tool to edit audio files such as cut and mix. You must also click first Edit then click Select All to enable trim editing. As you gain more experience in the editing tools, you will find other helpful options for you to awesomely produce music of the desired quality.

Tool utilization

Insert silence -This command inserts a period of silence, letting you specify the duration of the silence.

Add audio file – Add new audio to the end of the current audio file and if you want to cut and hold several places in one audio file, use this tool to add the same file several times and cut it.

Insert audio file – Click on the waveform screen where you want to insert it, and then select and insert an audio file using “Tools and then Insert audio file”. The original audio file to be inserted moves backward.

Mick audio file – Click where you want to start the audio mix on the waveform screen, and select the audio file in “Tools and then Mix audio file”. The newly added audio file and the original audio file are mixed and you can hear both.

Transfer music to iTunes
A tool that converts video and audio files to MP3 and adds them to your iTunes library. You need to install iTunes first to enable this function.

Click “+ Add” to add a video or audio file.
Select the file you want to transfer to the iTunes library.
Click “Start” to convert the selected file to MP3 and transfer it to your iTunes library.

ID3 tag editing tool
A tool that can customize ID3 tag information of audio files.

Add music files by “Load file”.
Customize the music file title, artist, album, year, genre, and artwork.
Save the ID3 tag information edit.
ID3 tab identifier
it can automatically tag multiple audio files all at once, instead of manually typing track information one by one like file title, artist, thumbnail image, album from online database.
Click “Add File” to add a music file.
Select the file whose ID3 tab information you want to update.
Click “Identify” to get the ID3 tab information from the online database.
Click “Save” to save the updated information.

CD burner
A tool to convert music and audio files to mp3 and create music CDs.
Insert a blank CD into a drive that can write CDs.
Add video and audio files.
Select the file you want to write to the CD.
Click “Start” to convert the selected file to MP3 and burn it to CD.

CD ripper
This tool converts music files from music CDs and save them on a computer.
Insert a CD into the drive.
If the music CD is recognized normally, the music on the CD is automatically displayed in the file list.
Select whether to convert music files separately or combine them into one file.
Select the format to convert and save. There are options such as MP3, AAC, FLAC, M4A, WAV, OGG.
Set the save destination for the music to be converted.
Click “Start” to convert the music CD and save it on your computer.
