How to Customize Codec, Bitrate, and Frame rate in Recording

Every video file has its own format depending on its content and type thus most people find it hard to save their desired video with the use of other applications. There are exact codec, bitrate, and framerate you need for screen recording.

Run VideoPower GREEN if you have installed it successfully on your PC. The main interface of the software should look like this:

Click the menu on the upper right corner of the interface. Choose “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

1) Click the “Videos” tab on the left side of the interface.
2) You are now able to customize the output format, codec, bitrate, and frame rate of the recording video as per need.
3) Click “OK” to save settings

You can choose the sound source by clicking the “Audio input” drop-down button.

1. System sound – the sound is produced from the operating system on your desktop.
2. Microphone – the sound is input by the microphone.
3. System sound and microphone – Both audios from PC and microphone will be included.
4. None – no audio/sound will be produced.

In recording your screen, use the “System sound” as default.

Click on the “Record” drop-down button to choose the recording mode.

1) Fullscreen – capture the whole screen
2) Region – set a specific area of your screen
3) Audio – record only the audio
4) Web camera – record your webcam.
5) Around mouse – select different areas around your mouse.

The pop-up window will ask whether you are ready to start recording, click “OK” to confirm when you are ready to record.

While recording you can add lines, arrows, shapes, texts, highlight, blur, etc. by clicking the edit button.

Click the “Stop” button to stop recording.

After that, the recorded file is already saved in the pointed output folder. Your recorded file can be seen in the main interface. You can right-click the file and do more operations if you like.
