VideoPower RED can download videos provided by the video-sharing service. The screen operation is almost the same as that of a Web browser. Enter the URL of the video-sharing service to use.

You can set the destination to save the downloaded file. Be sure to select this option before downloading video files from a browser installed on Windows using a detector that enables advanced detection (HTTPS support).

VideoPower RED also has an Auto-detect function that plays and downloads a video in the built-in browser that is built into the Chrome browser, especially for RTMP, HTTP, HTTPS, and other streaming protocols.
When you play a video on the Auto Detect page, the program can detect the actual video file and download it immediately. There are browser kernels such as IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, Android, etc. You can download more videos by switching browser kernels.

VideoPower RED is capable of ignoring files smaller than (KB). The videos of the size set in this setting item will not be downloaded. When downloading videos from some webs, many small-sized videos were automatically downloaded. So by means, these videos are advertising videos.
Therefore, go to settings and set the size of the video you do not want to download according to the size of the advertising video.

VideoPower RED has a very cool feature than can download hundreds or thousands of videos from YouTube with just a few clicks.
*Access first the YouTube channel with a browser such as IE or Chrome and then click [Playlist] to display a number of playlists created by the user and Copy the playlist URL from the browser.
+Click the “Paste URL” button for Video Power RED.
*Select the video you want to download in the pop-up window.
*Click “Add to download” and the video selected in the above mentioned will be added to the “Downloading” list.

Files being downloaded are listed in the Download Tab. Oh and by the way, if the product is not registered, only one file can be downloaded simultaneously. But after registering the product, you can set the maximum number of simultaneous downloads to 50 and when the download is complete, you can automatically check the Download Complete tab.

You can check the files that have been downloaded on the Download Complete tab.
The downloaded file is automatically saved. You can change the save destination in the preferences.
Place your mouse to the downloaded video and right-click to display the menu.

VideoPower RED also has a built-in library that contains a different set of hot videos that has three categories: Recent, Recommended, and Popular.
You can also search for videos by entering keywords in the search bar and you can play your favorite videos from the search results and add them to the download list by clicking the “Download” button in the upper right corner.

“Sometimes” the URL in “Paste URL”, the program will appear to start downloading after recognizing the video name, but after a few seconds, I noticed a red exclamation point surrounded by a red circle appear, saying, “Download Failed”. To prevent videos from not being able to download, many sites always change their encryption method. But in this case, just go to the “Auto detect” tab and play the video in the built-in browser to see if the video can be detected and can be downloaded, easy as that. The program will detect the video file and start downloading it.
But If the video download suddenly stops and you see an exclamation point in a red circle, this may be due to an unstable network.
So you must select a better and stable network connection, then right-click the task and click Resume Download to continue.

After downloading video and audio, you may want to transfer it to your iPhone or iPad. With the “Transfer Music to iTunes” feature, you can easily import downloaded videos and audio into iTunes and then sync to your iOS device but first, download and install the latest iTunes on your PC.
Next, use this product to convert video and audio to MP3 and transfer to iTunes.
*Open the “Downloaded” tab.
*Select the file you want to transfer to iTunes. You can select multiple files.
*Right-click the file name and click “Add”.
*Click “Add to iTunes” submenu of “Add”.

You can record your PC screen and save it as a video using the “Screen Record” function.
In addition, recording webcams is also supported.
When using the recording function, you can use the keyboard shortcuts to smoothly start, stop and pause/resume recording even if you hide the recording toolbar. Especially when recording a video in full` screen, you can hide the recording toolbar and use keyboard shortcuts to start, pause, stop, etc.
Therefore, it is recommended that you set a favorite shortcut or remember an existing shortcut.
*You can set the format and storage location of the recorded video.
* You can also set whether to include mouse on capture.
* You can set the mouse color, mouse animation effect, etc.
* Input system sound and microphone sound source can be set. You can also select the audio quality to low, standard and high.
*There are settings for optimizing the video and codec, bit rate, frame rate, mode, etc. of the storage format.

VideoPower RED also have the Video conversion or editing function. Use the “Convert” feature to convert downloaded or recorded video to the desired format and play your favorite video on various devices.
You can also re-edit the video using editing features such as trim, crop, watermark, subtitle, and screen audio sync.

VideoPower RED can be open automatically when Windows is started.
If you do not want to start this app automatically, you can just uncheck the box on the settings.
