How to Download Audio from Video on YouTube

Using your PC browser, open the YouTube video that you want to extract the music from and copy its URL. To copy the URL, you can right-click the URL on the top address bar and select “copy” from the options. You can also directly press Ctrl+C on your keyboard.

Open the VideoPower YELLOW and click the list icon on the right side.

Select “Video to MP3 converter” from the list of options.

The Video to MP3 converter will open in a new window. Paste the copied YouTube video URL on the URL field box.

You can also set the output format. Click the “Format” dropdown menu and select your preferred output format. In this example, we will set the output format to “MP3”.

Click the “Quality” dropdown menu to select your preferred output quality. In this example, we will set the output quality to “Standard”.

If all is set, click “Add to download” to begin the download process.

To check the download progress, go to the “Download” function screen and you will see the audio downloading under the “Downloading” tab.

When the download is completed, it will be moved to the “Completed” tab.

You may right-click the downloaded audio file and select “Play” from the options to playback.

Open the VideoPower YELLOW and click the “Record” function menu.

At the bottom, click the “Audio input” icon.

A list of options will drop down for your selection. In this example, we will set the audio input to “System sound”.

Beside the audio input, click the “Format” icon.

A list of available formats will drop down for your selection. In this example, we will set the output format to “MP3”.

To begin the recording, click the “Record” button at the bottom.

Go back to the music video on your PC browser and play it to have its music recorded.

When the recording is finished, go back to VideoPower YELLOW and click “Stop” to end the recording.

Check the recorded music by going to the “Library” function screen.

You will see the recorded music file under the “Recording list” tab.

You may right-click the recorded file and select “Play” from the options to playback.

Open the VideoPower YELLOW and click the “Record” function menu.

At the bottom, click “No task in schedule”. The task scheduler will open in a new window.

Specify the task name under the “Task Name” field box.

Mark check the “Daily” option if you want the scheduled task to trigger daily. If not, leave it unchecked.

Then set the preferred duration of the recording. You can manually enter the duration digit or use the up and down arrow to adjust.

If all is set, click “Create” to save the scheduled task.

The scheduled task you created will be added under the “Task list”.

Once done, click “OK” to close the task scheduler.

The countdown for the closest scheduled task will begin. You can see it at the bottom, below the “Record” button.

When the countdown reaches zero, the recording will automatically begin. Play the music video to have its music recorded.

When the end duration specified is reached, it will automatically end the recording. Alternatively, you can manually end the recording by clicking the “Stop” button on the software.

You can check the recorded file by going to the “Library” function screen.

You may right-click the recorded file and select “Play” from the options to playback.
